Spider Leg Oak Herringbone Dining Table - Natural
To create our Spider Leg Oak Herringbone Dining Table, we hand select from dozens of individual pieces Oak, like parquet pieces and form a table to meet your bespoke dimensions and criteria.
We glue the Oak blocks to a 25mm thick high grade hardwood plywood board and finish the edges with a generous 70mm thick solid Oak frame. We add biscuit joints to each corner for added strength and to show off the contrasting tones in the Oak.
Before a table passes the final quality inspection, they must spend several hours being sanded using different grades to ensure a smooth flat surface. All edges are rounded, and we use Fiddes natural hard wax oil to seal the finish which is also child friendly.
Due to the nature of reclaimed wood, the contrasting tones and characteristics of each piece of wood allow for ageing and wear, meaning this table will not spoil over time with everyday use. We always advise using placements for anything hot to preserve the oil and wax coating and the colour of the finish.
The height of our Spider Leg Oak Herringbone Dining Table is approximately 75cm, but as they are hand made their might be a few millimetres difference.

HERE’S WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE ORDERING...
• Table tops vary in overall look, by that we mean knots, old nail holes, scratches, different tones etc. We apply a gel filler to ensure a smooth even finish.
• Products are shipped with legs unattached, if you choose wooden tapered legs we will install the leg fixings. They will simply screw on. For any other leg type a screwdriver or drill is required.
