Handmade Furniture by Terry & Inca

Terry and Inca are a husband and wife team. Inca grew up in Finland, where at the age of 15 her passion for woodwork began, when she made a spice rack at school. It still has pride of place in her Grandma's kitchen. Later, she went on to design and make her own bespoke 'moon table'. 

When Terry was just 5 years old his grandparents bought him his first tool-kit and his passion for woodwork was kindled. He also made a spice rack during his childhood, and went on to complete a joinery apprenticeship when he left school.

When Inca moved to the UK she married Terry, and after running other businesses together, in 2021 their adventure with Handmade by Kontrast began. Today, they love designing and creating bespoke pieces for their clients.

From Day 1 the goal has always been to apply unique design to the industry and create pieces that put the visual design and themed ideas first, and then, and only then do the build. As a result, a genuinely unique piece of quality furniture is born. The reclaimed furniture compliments old values in a modern way. The couple work very hard at looking for niches and gaps in trends.
