Oak Herringbone Dining Table - Dark Chocolate
To create our Solid Oak Herringbone Dining Tables, we hand select individual oak blocks to create a truly unique table to meet your bespoke dimensions and criteria.
We glue the oak blocks to a 25mm thick high grade hardwood plywood board and finish the edges with a generous 70mm thick solid oak frame. We add biscuit joints to each corner for added strength and to show off the contrasting tones in the oak.
Before our dining tables pass their final quality inspection, they must spend several hours being sanded using different grades to ensure a smooth flat surface. All edges are rounded, and we use Fiddes natural hard wax oil to seal the finish which is also child friendly.
The beautiful natural characteristics found in solid oak, the individual grain patterns, contrasting textures and it's exceptional durability all support daily use and accommodate natural wear and tear, meaning this table will not spoil over time but instead become part of your family.
We always advise using placements for anything hot to preserve the oil and wax coating. However, if any accident should happen, your table can always be sanded and resealed and you can even change the colour to match future home décor designs.
The height of our Oak Herringbone Dining Table is approximately 75cm, but as they are hand made their might be a few millimeters difference.

Table Size Guide:
4-6 Seater - 130cm to 170cm in length
6-8 Seater - 180cm to 240cm in length
10-12 Seater - 240cm to 300cm in length
Current lead time for our made to measure furniture is 4 weeks from the time you place your order to receiving your beautiful table in your home.
HERE’S WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE ORDERING...
• Table tops vary in overall look, by that we mean knots, old nail holes, scratches, different tones etc. We apply a gel filler to ensure a smooth even finish.
• Products are shipped with legs unattached, if you choose wooden tapered legs we will install the leg fixings. They will simply screw on. For any other leg type a screwdriver or drill is required.
